KBRX Hamballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb cooked ham
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup of crushed graham crackers
  • a few dashes Worchestershire 
  • 1 TBS mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

The sauce: 

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 TBS mustard
  • 1 cup orange juice or pineapple juice
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Mix the first 8 ingedients in a very large bowl and form into balls. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes in a 9×11 baking dish, then drain off the fat as best you can and return the hamballs to the pan. Add half of the sauce and bake for an additional 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and pour the rest of the sauce over the top and serve warm. You can even move the hamballs to the slow cooker after they come out of their second round of baking and pour the sauce over them in there. They’ll stay beautifully until you’re ready for them!
