Well, hello there! It’s been a while and just like you, I’ve been trying to keep up with everything that’s going on in our country right now. Some joyful things are that Cal is freshly 5 (sob! I’m not joyful about this at all). What will I do when he’s too old to want to cuddle with me??? Seriously, what will I actually do? My heart will literally break. Liesl now rolls her eyes at my car singing (which I rather enjoy) and we’re actual pet owners! Cody is hyper, smart, and stubborn and our yard is littered with chew toys of all kinds. The kiddos love him though so…can you tell how enthused I am about dog ownership?

I haven’t posted recipes lately because…I got to film two back-to-back episodes on Monday! So that was keeping me busy 🙂 I was initially terrified of doing two episodes in one day, but we all made it through. There won’t be as many recipes on the show (typically I try for four and we reduced it to three) so that helped. I just hope that there’s still enough content to keep people engaged and interested! I’m anxious to see what the fantastic editors at Rainbow Communications come up with and how the new format will turn out. It was a crazy busy day! The grill kept blowing out so that made grilling lamb kebabs challenging, but hey, it kept me on my toes!
